Rockstar secretly programmed invisible cliff detection zones that override your inputs, so your horse refuses to let you do anything dumb. And that whole “bonding” system? It’s mostly an illusion. High-bond horses just hide the AI’s safety net better.
This is why RDR2’s horses have been trolling players for years — and most never noticed.
